Class of 2024 Graduation

On June 4th, we bade farewell to our Graduating class of 2024. At IEGS we combine Swedish traditions for Studenten with international traditions, making for an unique celebration for our learners.

The ceremony featured invited guests, inspiring speeches, well deserved academic awards and a musical performance from one of our teachers on piano, singing What a Wonderful World. 

Apart from the academic awards we also had the opportunity to recognise students with grit through Stipendiefonden till Ellinor Carlssons minne and the school Best Friend, recognised by Katarina Skolgille.

The formal ceremony concluded with the singing of Studentsången. Our students then had an opportunity to say goodbye to their mentors and class mates before running out to their chosen songs and into the loving arms of friends and family.

It really was a memorable day!

We wish all our graduates the very best as they embark on the next phase of their lives!
