Last weekend students from IEGS were invited to participate in an inter-school debate competition, held at Kungsholmen, and fought in English and using the same international schools debating rules that we use in our debate club and IHC debate.

"I am delighted that, having beaten Victor Rydberg in the semis, our team of Siri Nylund (c), Mattias Ahlgren and Andreas Gustaffson beat Kungsholmen in the final, opposing the motion ‘This House believes in state funding for religious schools'," says Dr Whiteley. "We can be very proud."

For this week's podcast we interviewed Siri Nylund about the competition and what the debating means to students at Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet.
