IEGS Webmaster

Hi,
I figured now was as good time as any to introduce myself as I've finally got my IEGS email address up and running (thank you, Mr Edwards!) – I'm Jon Buscall.

I'm the person responsible for co-ordinating, writing and updating Int. Engelska Gymnasiet's webpage.

I also run the school's Facebook Fan Page

I started out teaching Writing at universities in Finland and Sweden for almost ten years before moving into copywriting and journalism, and starting my own media and communications company.

Nowadays my days are spent writing content for a string of clients and you'll find my scribbles all over the internet, as well as in journals, adverts, brochures and newspapers.

From time to time I also do a fair bit of consulting, showing people how to write more effectively, and I'll be doing just this a couple of times during the course of the academic year at IEG.

How Can You Get Involved?

If you'd like to write for the Latest News section of this website or have a good story you'd like me to cover, please get in touch.

I'm always on the look out for:

  • news
  • student / teacher profiles
  • reports
  • study tips
  • photographs
  • or anything else that we can share as part of the IEG's online community.

I also have a list of stories I'd like student "reporters" to cover, so drop me a line if you'd like an assignment!

I'm usually around the school once a week or so if you want to talk to me in person, but email is easier as I'm usually hidden away behind my computer(s) in my office north of the city.

All the very best!
